October 23, 2026
Templates
- Pick any system or custom fields and set the column order. The ticket key is always the first column and links to the ticket.
- Start from 20 ready-made templates in the template gallery.
- Share templates with people, groups or everyone, and import or export them as files.
Choose your tickets
- Run on a project or a Jira saved filter, narrowed by issue type, status, assignee, created and updated dates, or JQL.
- Save the tickets on a template and Run starts the report straight away, or pick different tickets for one run.
Polished Excel files
- A styled header that stays in place, filters on every column and clickable ticket keys.
- A summary sheet and an optional sheet for each issue type.
- Reports are built in the background, with up to 20,000 tickets and 20 MB per file.
Schedules
- Run templates daily, weekly or monthly, at a time in your own time zone.
- Reports are kept in My reports for 30 days.
Admin controls
- Choose who can use the app and who can create templates, assign templates, and approve access requests.
- Logs page with 90 days of activity and CSV export.
Security
- Reports only include tickets each user can see in Jira, including issue security levels.
- The app only reads from Jira, and your data stays in Atlassian's cloud.
Licensing
- Excel Exporter is a paid app with a free trial, sold through Atlassian Marketplace.
